Bookmark Template

A bookmark template in Word lets you create your own unique bookmark easily. Before, bookmarking used to be a daunting task because you had to manually type in your bookmark URL, title, and description into different text boxes in different applications. And in recent years, automated bookmarks have completely taken over. You can now use Microsoft Word to design your very own personal bookmark template. The process is surprisingly easy and quick, plus it is free!To start, download a free bookmarks tool from the internet. Some are available for free, but many of them require a fee. Remember to always choose one that offers a free trial period. Some tools let you create and delete as many as 100 bookmarks at once! Others will only allow you to manage a limited number of bookmarks.Next, open Word and find the “Bookmark” icon located on the menu bar at the bottom right corner. Select it and click the button “New” or “ework”. A new window will appear with a toolbar containing several drop down menus. Click “epad” and then “HTML”, then “passthru”. Finally, save your changes as a bookmark and assign a permanent ID to it, if you like. There are two more options if you want to try this technique out: a free download and a website. A free download will let you preview the template, but not print it. On the other hand, using a website requires you to fill out the details about your bookmark template before uploading it.Open Word and find the menu bar for fonts. Choose any of the fonts that are available, even the ones that aren’t in your computer! Check out the “Download Fonts” option and then click on “Install font”. Wait for it to complete. Finally, select the “PDF” program from the menu bar and you’re done! Now you can print your bookmark template with any printer that supports pdf.Another way is to use a blank template for your own purposes. It will come in very handy because you won’t have to worry about anything else except how to fill it out and publish it. You can use most printers for this job, although some will have a special program for it. All you have to do is turn on the template and select the paper size that you want to print; all the rest should be taken care of by the software. Some bookmark templates are available in landscape and portrait orientation. They look very nice when printed in landscape or portrait orientation because they take up less space when being printed and are easier to handle. To change the orientation, all you have to do is change the “directional feed” setting and the paper you are using will automatically adjust itself. The landscape orientation is perfect for book lovers who love to travel and like to take their books with them. Even if they are on a plane, they can still enjoy a great read at home by turning their book lover’s favorite pages in landscape mode!Bookmarks can also be kept organized using a free bookmark template. All book lovers know how difficult it can be to keep track of everything; especially when they have hundreds of books to store. A free bookmark template comes in very handy for this purpose. The template can be used as a note board or a scrapbook and you can save time and effort keeping up with all the different ideas that pop into your head! Use a blank template for all your projects and you’ll never go wrong; you’ll have lots of blank space to fill with your own notes.
