Kit Template

A kit template is an image that you select from a selection of parts to use in a CNC router machine project. To explain kit templates in a little more detail: Parts are selected, and the item chosen is printed on a tab. You can add parts and edit the selection, all by using a simple toolbar on your CNC router machine. You can save the entire selection as a kit, or you can change it into a new selection by selecting the “Save As” option from the toolbar. To illustrate this point, let’s say that you want to create a Facebook fan page. Open the Facebook software on your computer, and launch the application. Once the application has opened up, a box will appear on the right side of the interface, reading “View Instances.” Within the Instagram media kit page template that you have opened, select the photo that you want to use for the “fan page” icon, then click “Save Selection” to name your selection. The Facebook application will now save your image as your fan page’s icon.If you change your mind and want to use a different image, simply select the photo that you have chosen, and again click “Save Selection.” You will notice that the icon for your Facebook fan page has changed to “Page Icon,” and your media kit page template has been updated to reflect this change. By repeating this process, you will keep track of your image selection, so that you do not have to repeatedly save images as your chosen media. This will help you save time when editing the final product. Additionally, save time when working on other projects that require complex selections. This example illustrates a very common use for a kit, as well as the type of information that can be included in a press kit. When creating your press kit, keep in mind that you should keep your target audience in mind. If you are offering financial services, you may want to add a graphic of a checkbook. If you are marketing your business, you can use a photograph of the business logo. As you develop your kit, think about your target audience and provide content that they may find interesting. If you are going to send the same media kit to various members of the media, consider whether you will be able to save the file to disk. Some reporters and editors will need the entire release as a hard copy version to take with them. If not, consider sending PDFs instead of hard copies. If you include additional graphics, make sure that you save the file to a PDF format. In order to receive full credit for a published media kit, you must include a signature line in your release. When you create a press release, your author name appears at the top of the release. If you include your own signature, it will appear as part of the body of the release. Make sure that you include your name, contact information, website address, and a short personalized message. You should also indicate whether the media kit is an “attribution” or “leeve” only release. Many companies that offer media coverage choose to distribute electronic versions of their ereaches. Electronic distribution of ereaches allows interested parties to download the files immediately. If you send out an electronic press kit, be sure that you include links to download the files. The links ensure that recipients will have immediate access to the files. As you continue to develop your company, you will undoubtedly come across situations where you will need to print media kits. Press kits are great for creating publicity and increasing the number of contacts that you have in your area. There are many kits available to choose from, including both online and printable versions. Because it’s so easy to distribute, it is an invaluable tool for both new and established businesses that are launching a new product. As more journalists become aware of the ease and convenience of digital press kits, they are likely to make requests for them.
