Microsoft Word (not MS Word) has a great scheduling program, the Weekly Appointment Schedules Template. This program is a very flexible program that can be used for creating schedules for anything you want to schedule. I use this program everyday for my business. With a Google Doc file format or a PDF file format you can create the schedule as needed. In a matter of minutes you can set up the file and begin your planning.
One great feature of this template is that it is very easy to edit the information. Even if you are not familiar with scheduling software it is very easy to make changes to the information that you have input. For example I can make notes on who should call on which day of the week or month. I can change the names of clients or add other features if necessary. You will be able to do all this quickly and easily using the tools that are available for free with the Microsoft Office Online program like calendaring and the ability to share spreadsheets online.
In the example I had set up the schedule template using the Google Docs application and then saved it to a PDF file format so that I could access it directly from my MS Word application. Once saved, I then incorporated all the changes I had made into the file format so that I would be able to create a printable version that my employees could print off for their files at their leisure. Each week I send a different schedule to my employees, so that everyone knows what they need to do and when. This type of planning is not possible without a software program like the Weekly Appointment Schedule Template.
