A greeting card is a note you send to somebody to wish them well on their birthday, anniversary, or any other occasion. This is usually done in person, by phone or through snail mail. It is a subtle way to let someone know they are admired and respected. For many, it is the last note to be written to someone before they move on to greener pastures. But what better way to say “Happy Birthday” than with a beautifully crafted greeting card?
In this short video you will see how to make your very own greeting card template with Microsoft Word, in just a few steps. The first step is to open a new document, and select “Pages”. In the left pane of the screen, double click “Awake”. Next, click “Templates” and then double click “Greeting Cards”. The next screens will display several different templates for you to choose from.
The next step is to select “New” from the menu that appears. From the menu, click on “Templates”. There are several tabs on this page that display pictures of a variety of greeting cards. Click on one of the pictures that looks like what you want to use for the front cover. Select “OK”. And you are finished!
